Robotic Product Configuration
3 minOverview
Robotic Product Configuration (RPC) is the central R&D Data Backbone (RDB) repository that tracks exactly which software, hardware, firmware and IFU versions are deployed on J&J MedTech robotic products in the field — spanning Ottava Robotics, Auris, VELYS and other robotic platforms. It consolidates data from eight source systems so service, quality and engineering teams can see, at a glance, the precise configuration of any deployed unit and trace it back to its build.
What it does
- Tracks deployed SW/HW/FW/IFU versions
- Consolidates eight disparate source systems
- Confirms cleared and approved configurations
- Checks compatibility with in-market equipment
- Maps country licenses and approvals
- Serves configuration data to Tableau marketplace
